We’re pleased to announce the DVD release of Sheffield Vision’s new feature length documentary ‘The Beat Is The Law – Fanfare For The Common People’ on 24th May 2011.

Taking as its focus the story of seminal pop misfits/messiahs Pulp over the course of their journey from the darkest industrial depths of Sheffield to the pinnacle of pop, this is an entirely new premium double DVD disc release from the team behind The Beat is the Law Part One.

Fanfare… tells the band’s story in their own words through specially filmed interviews with members of their classic (and reunion) line up including Jarvis Cocker and Russell Senior – as well as contributions from the likes of Richard Hawley, Moloko’s Mark Brydon and WARP’s Rob Gordon.

This is a four-hour, double disc DVD presentation featuring sleeve design and 24 page colour booklet by The Designers Republic – and preorders are now open.

We’ve put together some special extras for those of you preordering -

All DVD preorder customers will receive:
free postcard reproductions of the two specially commissioned The Beat is the Law print designs by Martin Bedford and Phil Wolstenholme (see our shop for images)
free poster sized full colour reproduction of the original Fanfare artwork by tDR.
Entry into a prize draw for one of 20 Fanfare posters signed by the complete reunited Pulp lineup!

You can preorder The Beat Is The Law – Fanfare for The Common People DVD right now from our online shop.
